Benfield Group Sailing Day
Benfield Group asked Spider Events to devise an event to help improve morale and team spirit within the Finance Department. A sailing event was decided upon to allow guests to get away from the office and feel truly exhilarated and absorbed. Thirty-six guests were split among six Beneteau 40.7 sailing yachts. During the morning each team member was assigned a role before setting sail with sail training and race tuition on the way to Cowes. Teams had lunch and some free time in Cowes to discuss their tactics! After lunch the teams reboarded their yachts before using their new found skills to participate in an exciting and highly competitive race on a mapped out course back to Ocean Village Marina. Prize giving and a debrief were held in Ocean Village Marina before guests headed off to their hotel to change for a night out in Southampton. |
